Inside The Bungalow is grateful for the opportunity to educate and enrich the lives of our guests while we work to make conscious choices in helping others, including our suppliers and vendors, and lessening the impact we have on mother nature. These are just a few ways we are working to make a difference.
Yoga studio
The Studio
Our studio is located in a 1923 bungalow home, not new construction. Whenever possible we used original materials, such as original hardwood floors, doors, built in shelving, etc. Our retail section & lobby are furnished with recycled antiques.
Cleaning Products
Our cleaning products are derived from organic and natural resources and are biodegradable.
We Recycle
While we don't have recycling through the city because of the cost, we take it home & recycle!
Teas
We offer certified organic teas at our tea station.
Retail Products
Environmentally friendly yoga mats
The Harmony Yoga Mat is made of open cell natural rubber. Natural rubber is a renewable resource made from rubber trees. Harmony contains no ozone depleting substances and is biodegradable.
Sweatshop free t-shirts
American Apparel is a sweatshop free t-shirt company who has always been committed to knowing the faces of their workers and providing them an opportunity to make a fair wage.
Local Artists
Using local artists helps support the local economy & saves energy in transport.
Come check out our t-shirts. Ingrid, one of our very talented yoga instructors, has added some of her own love and creativity in designing our t-shirts.
In the fall of 2008, we are excited to introduce our monthly local artists market. Local artists will be able to rent a table and sell their products. All proceeds from the money collected from the table rental will be used to create an ITB yoga scholarship fund. This will make yoga accessible to students who cannot afford it. Artists are encouraged to help us choose the scholarship recipients.

The cafe is located in a 1916 bungalow home, not new construction. Whenever possible we used original materials, such as original hardwood floors, restored the original fireplace, etc. Our retail section & home is furnished with recycled antiques & furniture.
Washable mugs & plates
We use washable plates & mugs for our guests looking to have breakfast or lunch with us in the cafe. Our guests receive a discount when using one of our mugs. Many of our "regulars" have brought in one of their favorite mugs from home to leave at the cafe.
Organic Herb Garden In Our Backyard
We have begun to create an herb garden in the backyard of the cafe & yoga studio. Just a few of our herbs include rosemary, basil, thyme & pineapple mint.
Organic Ingredients
We use many organic products in our smoothies, such as wheat grass, spirulina, oat bran, lemon & lime juice & peanut butter. We use as many natural and organic products as possible, including lettuce for our salads, breads, soy & rice milks.
Organic Coffee & Tea
We offer an assortment of organic coffee & teas and fair trade teas.
We Recycle
While we don't have recycling through the city because of the cost, we take it home & recycle!

Our venue is primarily an outdoor venue, a beautiful way to celebrate and honor mother nature. We offer both ceremony & receptions at one location which saves energy in transport.
Local Vendors
Many of our vendors are located within the one mile radius in downtown Mesa. This supports local businesses & saves energy in transport.
Our two preferred catering companies use local farmers & organic ingredients whenever possible.
Decorations
Most bride & grooms save resources & money by using the natural beauty & greenery on the property, including the live bamboo, fig trees & orchid trees. We provide the ceremony decorations, including arch, rod iron tulle holders & aisle runner. This provides a unique setting for the ceremony without additional resources being used.
Left Over Food
We can pre-arrange and deliver left over food to local food banks. This helps prevent waste and provides a beautiful way to help others.
