ITB Green Practices

Inside The Bungalow is grateful for the opportunity to educate and enrich the lives of our guests while we work to make conscious choices in helping others, including our guests and suppliers while lessening the impact we have on mother nature. These are just a few ways we are working to make a difference:

Yoga Studio and Cafe
The Bungalows

Both our studio and cafe are located in historic homes, not new construction. Whenever possible, we used original materials, such as original hardwood floors, doors, built in shelving, etc. Our retail section and lobby are furnished with recycled antiques.
Website
Our website is hosted through Dreamhost. Dreamhost is carbon neutral, meaning they “purchase renewable energy certificates that offset the carbon emissions generated by all of our business activities”
Washable mugs and plates
We use washable plates and mugs for our guests in the cafe. Many of our “regulars” have brought in one of their favorite mugs from home to leave at the cafe.
Cleaning Products
Our cleaning products are derived from organic and natural resources and are biodegradable.
We Recycle
Organic Ingredients
We use as many natural and organic ingredients and products as possible, including lettuce for our salads, soy and rice milks, wheat grass, spirulina, and more
Local Roaster
We purchase our coffee from Firecreek Coffee Roasters. This helps support the local economy while saving energy in transport
Organic and Fair Trade Teas
We offer an assortment of organic and fair trade teas

Weddings
Space

Our venue is primarily an outdoor venue, a beautiful way to celebrate and honor mother nature. We offer both ceremony and receptions at one location which saves energy in transport
Local Vendors
Many of our vendors are located within Mesa. This supports local businesses and saves energy in transport
Decorations
Most bride and grooms save resources and money by using the natural beauty and greenery on the property, including the live bamboo, fig trees and orchid trees. We provide the ceremony decorations, including arch and rod iron tulle holders. This provides a unique setting for the ceremony without additional resources being used.
